The William and Mary Highboys were generally smaller than succeeding styles and had six trumpet turned legs. The case is made of pine and veneered with walnut. A double arch molding surrounds the drawers and a bead outlines the shape of the base. The drawer faces are outlined with birch veneer in a herring bone pattern.
