Paneled Low Post, PA-1
HEIGHT:34'', 86cm
17th Century

This low post bed has unusually fine early turnings. In the "Furniture Treasury, " Wallace Nutting considered these "The best 17th century bedposts," and commented on the "remarkable beauty of the turnings." We feature this bed with a raised panel headboard, with and without a crest rail. It is also appropriate and attractive with headboards HB-1 or HB-2. Shown in oak, it can also be made in maple or cherry.
