Ephraim Haines Field Bed, SB-9

One of the finest field beds in the Sheraton style, this piece illustrates the mastery of form attained by American craftsmen at the close of the 18th century. The original was built by Ephriam Haines of Philadelphia in 1806. This bed features festooned and tasseled drapery carved on the urn. The reeded vase above is topped by leafage. Shown in mahogany with optional ogee tester frame.
