This bed is a modification of the SB-5 field bed. The posts have been made taller and heavier in section. Some additional turning elements have been added to maintain proper proportion as well as an inlay in the square section of the post. The bed was designed for a period Southern home with very high ceilings. The overall height is 101" (257cm). Shown queen size in cherry with headboard HB-8 with finial C.
