This ingenious early American bed could be folded up during the day. With the bed folded the curtains are drawn around to completely conceal it. This bed and the non-folding version are particulary siutable for smaller rooms where tall foot posts would take up too much visual space. This bed is only available with a rope spring. The head posts are pencil posts with an early style low post at the foot. It is supplied with a half tester.
